We are delighted to welcome to the CSRC Team, Jane Sargeant as Operations Director and Alex Sturgess as Groom.
Operations Director
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jane Sargeant as CSRC’s new Operations Director.
As a previous beneficiary of the Centre’s services, Jane is well versed in the amazing facilities and future potential the Centre has to offer. As a wheelchair user, Jane has experienced our hippotherapy, independent riding and the mechanical horse sessions – all of which have helped aid her recovery from spinal cord surgery which left her unable to move her legs 10 years ago. Jane retired from being a Police Detective Constable for Merseyside Police in April 2020 and in February of this year she started volunteering in the CSRC office.
Jane replaces Julie Cowley who stepped into the vacancy on a temporary basis and has now returned to her position as a Trustee.
Equine Team
A warm welcome to Alex Sturgess who has joined the Equine Team as full-time groom. Alex has replaced Shelley Pierce who has moved on to progress her studies. We wish Shelley all the very best, she will be missed.
