The Clwyd RDA Group had a fantastic four days at the RDA National Championships at Hartpury. We took a full team of volunteers and five members of staff. The event took lots of planning and hard work but was worth every minute of it.
There were a few blips to test our resilience, such as extreme weather and last-minute horse swops, but our team rose to the occasion. We’re very proud of all our horses and riders who coped amazingly in the big show environment. It’s so rewarding to be able to coach our RDA riders to participate at such a prestigious event.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, including those from Calon RDA and Meirionnydd RDA Groups who competed and were placed, riding our very own Moo, LJ and Kestrel.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible - our staff, volunteers, trustees, participants and parents. A special mention goes to SME Rug Wash and Repairs for sponsoring our Centre and making sure we went to the event with sparkling saddle pads.
The team at CSRC had a fantastic experience and we’re looking forward to returning next year!

Class 12: Riley, riding Kestrel. Placed 2nd.
Class 101: Carys, riding Kestrel. Placed 4th.
Dressage
Class 91: Christie, riding Jack. Placed 8th.
Class 57: Mikayla, riding Kestrel. Placed 6th.
Class 89: Carys, riding Moo. Placed 1st & Class Champion – Junior class.
Class 89: Angharad, riding Moo. Placed 1st & Class Champion - Senior class.
Class 91: Lottie, riding Kestrel. Placed 8th.
