This year, the theme of our annual Sopwith fundraising event is the ‘Sopwith Scavenger Stroll’.
This family-based event is all about enjoying a fun filled morning following clues to search for answers around our 2km all-weather track. There are medals and certificates to be won, and art and craft activities to enjoy – all included in the entry price!
And when you have found all the clues, come and meet our wonderful horses and ponies and learn more about how the Centre and its horses provide life-changing equine assisted therapy for those with additional needs.
What a perfect way to enjoy a Sunday morning in the beautiful surroundings of the Centre before heading into our Common Room for a snack and refreshments. And don’t forget to pop into our onsite shop to browse our horse themed items and pre-loved riding gear.
Bring your friends and family along, the more the merrier. We look forward to seeing you!
DATE: Sunday 24th September 2023
TIME: Starts 10:30am until 12:30pm.
PLACE: At Clwyd Special Riding Centre, Llanfynydd, Nr Wrexham, LL11 5HN.

£4 per adult.
£2 per child.
£10 family ticket (2 adults & 2 children).
WEATHER: If only we could predict the weather! Our outside track around the fields is a purpose-built riding track with a chipped rubber surface, so even after rain, it does not get muddy. We do however recommend sturdy footwear or wellies.
PRAMS: Only prams suited to rough terrane would be suitable for our track and there are some brief inclines. The whole of the Centre though is designed to be fully accessible with plenty of indoor space.
DOGS: We are sorry, but we have a no dog policy at this event.
