The purchase was made possible following a donation from the Powell family - made in memory of Jennifer Powell, together with a generous discount from equine accessories supplier, Premier Equine International Ltd.
Premier Equine International Ltd, leading manufacturers of horse rugs & equine accessories, generously offered CSRC a discount which enabled the purchase of much-needed additional riding helmets for our BHS Changing Lives Through Horses Programme and our Equine Assisted Therapy sessions. You can see here some of our participants proudly wearing the beautiful hats.
Following the sad passing of one of our long-serving volunteers Jennifer Powell, it was her family's wishes that donations given in memory of Jennifer were to be used towards equipment needed for the participants at CSRC. Due to the many friends that Jennifer had, the amount raised covered the whole cost of purchasing the riding hats from Premier Equine.
We would like to express our huge thanks to both Premier Equine, the Powell family and everyone who donated in memory of Jennifer.
This is a great example of supporters coming together collaboratively to help CSRC continue to improve the lives of those who need it most and offer the support that is often a lifeline to many families.
