**POSITION FILLED** Due to expansion, Clwyd Special Riding Centre is looking for a part-time BHS Riding Instructor to join our dedicated team.
We are keen to hear from BHS qualified riding instructors with experience of working at a commercial riding school.
As we are a specialist riding centre, the participants you will be teaching will be neurodivergent and those who ride for therapeutic benefits, such as those with anxiety disorders; therefore, you must have prior experience in teaching this type of rider. You will coach independent riders, as our riders requiring more specialist support ride under the Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
Great communication skills, the ability to develop a good rapport and create a positive experience for our participants, are a must. The ideal candidate will be patient, enthusiastic and dedicated to horse welfare.
Job Role:
Provide coaching to a wide range of participants of all ages and abilities.
Assist with enabling the therapeutic benefits of horse riding to neurodivergent individuals.
Ensure health and safety and safeguarding guidelines are met by all participants and visitors to the Centre.
Required Qualifications:
BHS Stage 3 complete coach (BHSAI).
We may consider an experienced BHS Stage 2 coach.
In date safeguarding and first aid certificates.
DBS check will be carried out by the Centre.
Job Type: Part-time - Tuesday afternoon/evening and a Saturday.
Pay: To be discussed depending on experience.
Start date: as soon as possible.
