Members of Deeside Oddfellows recently visited the Centre to present CSRC with a generous cheque for £725!
A keen horsewoman herself and with an understanding of the valuable benefits equine therapy can bring, Olwen Bellis, chose CSRC to be her nominated charity in her year as their District Chairman.
The money was raised by holding raffles at their coffee mornings and by selling earrings made by Olwen. Despite the rain, they were able to meet some of our horses including Little Jack and our yard cat, Boots, who both enjoyed lots of attention!
For over 200 years the Oddfellows has helped its members forge friendships and offered help in times of need. They are a non-profit mutual that believes in a community bonded by friendship, care and charitable support.
Thank you to all their members who gave generously to support our charity, it is greatly appreciated.
