Volunteers are a vital part of the success of Clwyd Special Riding Centre. Our riding sessions are run solely by volunteers, and we often require up to three volunteers per rider - so we are very reliant on having the correct number of volunteers in place to support each session. Just a regular few hours of your time would help us to offer more people the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of equine assisted therapy.
Volunteers are needed in all our equine activities, and we also need help with site maintenance, gardening and at events. In return, volunteers learn new skills, make new friends and can themselves benefit from enhancing their own well-being. No prior experience with horses is needed, we provide training on site. Volunteers must be over 14 years of age.
Whatever your skills, you will have something to offer. So why not take the first step in helping to make a difference and contact us to find out more about volunteering?

Many companies look to support local charities as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility agenda. The value a team of skilled professionals can bring in just one day can have a huge positive impact on the charity - be that using their professional skills or working as a team to transform an area that will benefit so many. There are always projects we need help with, so please get in touch to find out more.
In just one day, the Maintenance Delivery Team from Uniper Energy transformed our picnic area into a welcoming space for our holiday groups and as a future outdoor classroom.
There are many opportunities for volunteering here at CSRC and we very much appreciate any time you may be able to give. Without volunteers, the day to day running of the centre and the sessions would be extremely difficult.
