Become A Volunteer Today!

Help make a difference to someone's life…

Volunteers are a vital part of the success of Clwyd Special Riding Centre. There are many opportunities for volunteering here at CSRC and we very much appreciate any time you may be able to give. Without volunteers, the day-to-day running of the Centre and the sessions would be extremely difficult.

Volunteers are needed to help in all our equine assisted activities, and in particular our Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) riding and carriage driving sessions. These are run solely by volunteers, and we often require up to three volunteers per rider - so we rely on having the correct number of volunteers in place to support each session. Just a regular few hours of your time would offer more people the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of equine assisted therapy.

We also need voluntary help with site maintenance, gardening and to help out at events.

In return, volunteers learn new skills, make new friends and can themselves benefit from enhancing their own well-being. No prior experience with horses is needed, as we provide training on site. Volunteers must be over 14 years of age.

Whatever your skills, you will have something to offer. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sara Henney at volunteering@clwydspecialridingcentre.co.uk or call 01352 770446 (Option 4).
