RDA Carriage Driving
Especially adapted carriages make carriage driving accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. The exhilarating feeling of movement provided by carriage driving is both therapeutic and a great sport. Our 2km all-weather track offers a unique driving experience around our peaceful setting.
RDA Riding
We offer riding sessions for groups and individuals from the age of five. In our sessions, the horse provides a focus for a wide range of physical activities, and educational activities that help to build skills in literacy, numeracy and communication.
Independent Riding
Independent sessions offer more able riders with additional needs, the opportunity to take their riding skills to the next level.
Mechanical Horse
Our state-of-the-art fully simulated mechanical horse with interactive screen offers an alternative riding experience that helps to build core strength and improve balance and posture. With its interactive screen you can choose to ride along the beach, go cross country or hone your dressage skills.
Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy is physiotherapy on horseback. This specialist physiotherapy utilises the specific movements of a horse to provide rehabilitation to a wide range of both adult and paediatric neurological and complex conditions. It is also proven to improve motor, sensory and language skills.
Changing Lives Through Horses
The British Horse Society Changing Lives Through Horses programme is an alternative educational provision that promotes character-building and encompasses the development of life skills and academic achievement.
